Effective Job Objective Examples

Career objectives believe it or not are also called job objective examples which project to the reader what your career goals are for the next 3-5 years.

They should communicate five main points which are:

  • The position your applying for
  • The company your applying to
  • The industry your applying in
  • Where you see yourself
  • The out come for the company

The following is a job objective example while combining the five elements from above:

“A seasoned professional with 3 years experience who brings a wide variety of programming languages in order to establish a foothold within the IT industry as a Programmer for Organization X so that it can remain the market leader in today’s market. “

Reading the above really make the applicant stand out of the many who are applying for the same position.  It appeals to employers when you utilize their company name, the industry they are in and or even the position details.

Many other job seekers out there will create a very general job objective statement which may be quite universal in nature and applicable to many of the same types of positions.
